Harvest is a sculptural work that presents an fleshy form, characterized by its asymmetry and physicality. The sculpture embodies inner tension and struggle. Its organic anatomical appearance evokes the corporeal, highlighting the intimate and sometimes crude nature of the body as a site of transformation.
The title Harvest reflects this duality: while the form suggests the rawness of internal processes, it also implies cyclical change and accumulation, as if the inner life itself has been gathered, exposed, and made tangible.
Mounted butterflies, introduced during the exhibition, provide a contrast to the sculpture’s alien form. They act as symbols of transcendence, suggesting that moments of vulnerability and struggle can give rise to transformation.
