Evolution of The Wrong Species is a three-part sculptural installation tracing the gradual emergence of a dragon figure. The sequence progresses from a seated posture, to a tentative crawl, and finally to an upright stance balanced atop a dragon egg. The egg functions as a symbol of latent potential, an ongoing evolution that has not yet reached its limit.

The dragons appear wounded, their surfaces marked by rupture and vulnerability. The dragon embodies transformation, power, and rebirth. Within this installation, the figure becomes a being in continuous transition, carrying both its injuries and its capacity to evolve.

By staging the dragon in multiple states of becoming, the installation reflects on growth as a non-linear process, fragile, painful, and expansive at once. Ahmadi positions the dragon as a symbolic mirror for the internal metamorphoses that define humans.
