I Would Do It Again, Every Time
The collage that spans an entire wall, weaving together thousands of images of animals and humans in an overwhelming collage. Each fragment tells a story of interaction, tension, and harmony, offering a nuanced exploration of the delicate balance between species and their shared existence.
Inspired by Sophie’s single Rawwwwww, the work delves into the cyclical patterns that define human and animal behaviors—cycles of instinct, survival, love, and dominance. As viewers are drawn into the intricate mosaic, they confront questions of agency: Are we ever truly free, or do we unconsciously repeat the same actions, driven by forces beyond our control?
This immersive piece challenges the notion of free will, suggesting that even in moments of perceived autonomy, we might be participants in a predetermined loop. Yet, there is beauty in repetition, a strange allure in the inevitability of choosing the same path again and again.
